According
to research data, the people of Rizal, Mabini, and Pagolingin have the same local
practices due to their close locations.
Above (image at the upper left) is a map of Batangas Province's first-ever city of Lipa first published in 1961, and its neighboring localities. The map shows the proximity and almost overlapping of territories of Barangay Mabini to Barangay Rizal and Pagolingin wherein local practices are the same. The digital file has been downloaded from the National Library of the Philippines Digital Collections.

Based on the 1944 Town Plan of Lipa City, as originally generated by the United States Army Map Service and copied from a 1936 map created by the Manila Fire Insurance Association, the town of Ibaan was accessible from Lipa City Town Proper through G.A. Solis St., Antipolo Road and through Padre Garcia. As shown in the 1961 Lipa City Map, the access road from Lipa City to Ibaan was not as complete as it is today.
